01Who we are

Winz Career Accelerator ("Winz", "we", "us") is a social enterprise based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, initiated by the global alumni network of the College of Engineering Trivandrum. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through winzcareer.com and through our programmes.

02Information we collect

We only collect what we need in order to respond to you and to deliver the programme you have signed up for.

• Contact details you submit: name, email address, phone number and the college or organisation you belong to.
• Enquiry content: the role you selected, the programme you are interested in and the message you wrote.
• Programme data: assessment responses, scores, interview scorecards, resume drafts and mentor feedback, for enrolled participants only.
• Technical data: anonymous, aggregated information about how pages on this site are used, if and when analytics are enabled.

03How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and recommend the appropriate programme.
• To deliver assessments, training, mock interviews and mentorship you have enrolled in.
• To generate your Personal Employability Report Card and final Employability Score.
• To share your scorecard and profile with placement cells or recruiters, only where you have explicitly opted in.
• To send programme-related updates such as cohort dates, session reminders and results.
• To improve our programmes using aggregated, de-identified cohort results.

04Legal basis and consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting a form or enrolling in a programme, and where necessary to perform the programme you have paid for or been enrolled in by your institution.

You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer deliver an in-progress programme.

05Sharing your information

We do not sell personal data. We do not share your details with third parties for their own marketing.

• Alumni mentors receive only the information needed to run your session, such as your resume, discipline and target roles.
• Partner colleges receive cohort-level reporting and, for their own students, individual scores under the institutional agreement.
• Recruiters receive candidate profiles and verified scorecards only where the candidate has opted in to the talent pool.
• Service providers such as hosting, email and scheduling tools process data on our behalf under contract.

06Data retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Programme records, including assessment results and scorecards, are retained for up to 5 years so that alumni can request a copy of their own certification. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

07Your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@winzcareer.com. We respond to requests within 30 days.

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your data, subject to any record we must keep for accounting purposes.
• Withdraw consent to marketing or to inclusion in the recruiter talent pool.
• Object to a specific use of your data and ask us to restrict it.

08Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls limited to the operations team, and confidentiality commitments from mentors. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you do not send sensitive information such as identity document numbers or financial details through the website form.

09Children's data

Winz programmes are designed for college students and graduates. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, write to us and we will delete it.

10Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful, we will update this section and the measurement will remain aggregated and anonymous.

11Changes to this policy

We will update this page whenever our practices change and revise the last-updated date at the top. Material changes affecting enrolled participants will also be communicated by email.
